Built by researchers, for researchers

LRI was first established in 2019, and formally transformed into a fully independent professional researchers’ association between 2021–2022. We are legally registered with Kemenkumham RI through Decree No. AHU-0003901.AH.01.07.TAHUN 2023, dated 23 May 2023.

Headquartered in Medan, North Sumatra, LRI operates across all 10 Indonesian provinces with an international representative board — fully independent of any political party or government agency.
